Somewhere in Europe in the 1980s. An introverted University student falls in love with a colleague. An unreciprocated infatuation like that might have happened to anyone but, over 10 years later, the obsession still controls the protagonist's life...

    In "A Certified Letter" the unfulfilled passion is also a pretext to set on a spiritual journey through the realms of universal human experience, exploring such themes as overcoming trauma and disillusion, confrontation with death or quest for the Absolute. The sender of the letter - a mysterious figure with no name and undefined gender brings to mind a symbolic Everyman or any introspective individual constrained to come to terms with existence in a corrupt world where one would like to take "a leave from life".

    Written in a loose eclectic form, intertwined with poems, the narrative expands dynamically in its vivid, palpable imagery until it reaches its surprising climax.
